About the Dhaka Triathlon Club (DTC)
- The Dhaka Triathlon Club
- Dhaka, Bangladesh
- The sport of triathlon combines swimming, biking and running into one endurance event. Races vary in length and can include: (SWIM/BIKE/RUN) * ‘sprint’ distance (500m-1K/25K/5K) * ‘olympic’ distance (1.5K/41K/10K) * ‘half ironman’ distance (1.2 m/56 m/13.1 m) * ‘ironman’ distance (2.4 m/112 m/26.2 m)

Great job Dave and Robin!
Really enjoyed the run on Friday morning. Can we nominate charities who could benefit from the fund-raising of the DTC? I sit on the board of The School of Hope, which delivers primary education to street children in the outskirts of Dhaka. It's a very worthwhile cause and they deliver amazing results. I'm happy to provide further details of their activities.

Great idea, Ken! I think the DAWC (Dhaka American Women's Club) has chosen the School of Hope as the beneficiary for a Luau they are throwing in mid-March. We could host a race that same week-end with a Hawaiian theme and raise EVEN MORE MONEY for the school. Would you like to help organize something? There were some DAWC members that ran the race who might be interested in helping. Ladies...???
