- The sport of triathlon combines swimming, biking and running into one endurance event. Races vary in length and can include: (SWIM/BIKE/RUN) * ‘sprint’ distance (500m-1K/25K/5K) * ‘olympic’ distance (1.5K/41K/10K) * ‘half ironman’ distance (1.2 m/56 m/13.1 m) * ‘ironman’ distance (2.4 m/112 m/26.2 m)
